7 Bad Habits That Damage Your Brain

1. Skipping Breakfast

Many of us skip breakfast when we are in a hurry to school or work but we forget that it is the most important meal of the day. Among the other organs, the brain uses more energy. It consumes about 20% of the glucose available in the body each day. The brain uses about two-third of this energy to transmit the neuronal signals to the rest of the body.

The rest of the energy is used to maintain cells. If breakfast is skipped frequently, blood sugar levels will decrease drastically leading to brain damage. If the brain doesn’t get enough energy regularly, it will become less responsive to stimuli and the rate of death of brain cells will increase.
